SignalSend

Legal

Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 28 July 2026

SignalSend is for relevant, responsible business outreach—not indiscriminate messaging. These rules apply to every user, workspace, integration and message.

Required practices

  • Use a genuine sender identity, valid reply address and business postal address.
  • Contact only recipients for whom you have a lawful basis and a credible business reason.
  • Document the provenance, permitted use and relevant lawful basis for contact data you provide or select.
  • Check material source data and generated claims before relying on or sending them.
  • Keep messages accurate, proportionate and relevant to the recipient's professional role.
  • Honour unsubscribe requests, objections, complaints and suppression lists immediately, including by importing restrictions that originate outside SignalSend.
  • Review applicable local marketing, privacy and platform rules before sending.

Prohibited use

  • Purchased, scraped or harvested bulk lists without documented permission or another valid legal basis.
  • Assuming that public availability, enrichment or email verification alone creates permission to contact a person.
  • Re-enriching, re-uploading or contacting a person after an objection, opt-out or suppression applies.
  • Spam, deception, impersonation, hidden identity, misleading subject lines or unlawful discrimination.
  • Outreach to personal email accounts without consent or another clearly documented lawful basis.
  • Processing children's data, special-category data, facial recognition or sensitive-trait inference.
  • Malware, phishing, credential theft, illegal products, harassment or attempts to evade provider limits and suppression controls.

Enforcement

SignalSend may block a message, reduce sending limits, pause automation or suspend an account where bounce, complaint or opt-out patterns create risk. We may ask for evidence of data source, consent or legitimate-interest assessment. Report abuse to hello@signalsend.app.
